Robert C. Lozmack

Robert C. Lozmack, age 93, of Three Oaks died Friday, October 26th at West Woods of Niles. He was born August 13, 1919 in Weesaw Twp., MI to the late Paul and Paulina Lozmack. On December 31, 1949 in Galien, Michigan, he married Kathleen Howard, who survives; along with a son, Robert G. (Barbara) Lozmack of Galien, MI; three grandchildren, Jason, Jamie & Andy; and one great-grandchild Bryson. Other survivors include a sister, Evelyn Klann of St. Joseph, MI and brothers, George (Helen) Lozmack of Three Oaks, MI, and John (Evelyn) Lozmack of Sugarland. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Mildred Mangold, Irene Margol, Mary Bonakowski & Ella Ludlam, Texas and four brothers, Tom, Joe, Marvin & William. Bob was a veteran of World War 2, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was as member of American Legion Post 344 of Galien for the past 66 years. Bob enjoyed working in his flower and vegetable garden, as well as mowing his lawn. He farmed for many years, as well as being a carpenter. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 30th from 5-7 p.m. at Swem Chapel in Buchanan. A Celebration of Live Service will be held Wednesday, October 31, at 10:00 a.m. also at Swem Chapel. Burial will take place in Galien Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by Galien American Legion Post 344.
