Holly Harlo

Holly Harlo, 84, of Buchanan, MI, passed away on Monday, March 12, at Berrien Center Long Term Care Facility. Arrangements have been entrusted with Swem Chapel of Buchanan, MI.Holly was born on May 27, 1927 in Chicago, IL to Wade and Helen (Quillen) Hudson. She was a graduate of Galien High School. Holly worked at I&M in Buchanan for 42 years in customer service. She was a member and Past Matron of the Eastern Star of Niles, MI Chapter #332. Holly loved to read, and was an avid fan of George Strait and Lawrence Welk. She also belonged to the AEP Retirees. Holly is survived by her sister, Lolita Hudson of Buchanan; Nieces, Beverly Hamm and Lenine Rauch both of Tinley Park, IL; Niece and God-Daughter Gail Hudson of Three Oaks; and Great Nephews, Nicholas and Tyler Henderson. She is preceded in death by her parents-Wade and Helen, and her husband-Donald, and a brother-Leonard Couch.A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Friday, March 16, 11:00AM, at Swem Chapel in Buchanan. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan. Visitation will precede the service by one hour – from 10:00-11:00AM, at the funeral home.
