Kathryn A. Clemans

Kathryn A. Clemans, age 76, of Buchanan, Michigan died Sunday, August 26th at Royalton Manor in St. Joseph, Michigan. She was born November 6, 1935 in Buchanan to the late Lloyd & Cecil (Upham) Bliss, who preceded her in death. On June 9, 1954 in Buchanan Kathryn married Jack Clemans who survives; along with two daughters, Pam Clemans, of Stevensville, Michigan and Jackie (Joe) Dembinski of Niles, Michigan; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Five sisters, Thelma Letcher, Margaret Crocker, Mary L. Bliss, Barbara Huff and Frances Batchelor, and a brother, Gordon Bliss, preceded her in death. Kathryn enjoyed working in her garden and reading. A service celebrating her life will be Thursday, August 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Swem Chapel; Pastor Robert McPherson of First United Methodist Church will officiate. Friends may begin calling one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions are of the donor’s choice. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Buchanan.
