Craig's Obituary
Craig A. Smith, age 44, of Buchanan, died Friday, January 4th at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, Michigan. He was born March 14, 1968 in Saint Joseph, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father, Craig G. Smith in 1988 and grandparents Geradous & Irene Smith. Survivors include his mother, Dianne Smith Brenning of Divernon, Ill., a daughter, Nikki Smith of Bridgman, and grandparents Albert & Freida Yerke of Bridgman. Craig graduated from Michigan State University with an associate degree from the Agriculture School. He was a member of the MSU Live Stock Judging Team and was active with the Berrien County Youth Fair. Visitation will be Sunday, January 6th from 4-8 p.m. at Swem Chapel in Buchanan where services will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m., Pastor Michael Roth officiating. Burial will follow at Ruggles Cemetery, Baroda.Memorial contributions may be made to the Berrien County Youth Fair.
