Marjorie F. Russell

Marjorie F. Russell, age 95, of Buchanan died Sunday Dec. 2nd, at Woodland Terrace in Niles. She was born Nov. 22, 1917, in Benton Harbor, Michigan to the late Dick & Elizabeth (Steele) Ingleright. On February 12, 1944, in South Bend she married John H. Russell who preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 2005. Survivors include three daughters, Carol (Donald) Anderson – Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeanette (James) Jesse- Buchanan, Michigan and Nona (Larry) Schmidt- El Paso, Texas; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Two sisters, Margaret and Rosalie, preceded her in death. Marjorie was a member of Oronoko United Methodist Church and had served on several church boards. She enjoyed doing crafts as well gardening. She will also be remembered for giving of herself to friends and family.Visitation will be Friday Dec. 7th from 5-7 p.m. at Swem Chapel in Buchanan followed by services on Saturday Dec. 8th at 10:00 a.m., also at Swem Chapel, with Rev. Jane Logston officiating.
