Patricia L. Mc Cleland

Patricia Linda Mc Cleland, age 65, of Niles died Saturday in her home after long illness. She was born July 26th, 1947, in Dyersburg, Tennessee to James P. and Eudora (Seratt) Simpson.On October 14, 1992, in Niles, Michigan, she married Gary Mc Cleland who survives; along with her father, James T. Simpson, of Buchanan; three daughters, Joedell (Joseph) Covyeou of Niles, Raychel (Christopher) Polchlopek of La Porte, Indiana, and Beth (Kip) Prast of Rolling Prairie, Indiana; four sons, Richard (Candy) Whitmire of Niles, Michigan, James (Kristin) Mc Cleland of Tempe, Arizona, Gary (Michelle) Mc Cleland of Noblesville, Indiana, and Seth Mc Cleland of San Diego, California. Also surviving is a sister, Alice (Budd) Hopkins, of Buchanan; seventeen grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren also survive her. Patricia was preceded in death by her mother Eudora Simpson and a brother Donnie Simpson. Patricia was very appreciative of her blended family as well as her ongoing special relationship with Tammy & Derrick Pence. She enjoyed croqueting and ceramics. She had worked at the AT&T warehouse prior to becoming ill. A visitation will be held on Tuesday July 2nd, 4-8 p.m. at Swem Chapel in Buchanan where a service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3rd. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Buchanan.
