William D. Hubble

William (Bill) Dwight Hubble, age 77, of Buchanan, died Saturday, November 2, at Silverbrook Manor in Niles. Bill was born November 17, 1935 in Bald Knob, AR to the late Curtis and Essie (Anderson) Hubble who preceded him in death. On April 5, 1963 in McKeesport, PA he married Linda Ann O’Neil who preceded him in death on February 2, 2013. Bill is survived by two sons: Andy (Kim) Hubble of Aurora, IL and Craig (Jill) Hubble of St. Joseph, MI, five grandchildren: Connor, Gavin, Sophia, Ava & Lincoln Hubble. Bill graduated from Buchanan High School in 1954, and served in the military following the Korean War. He worked as an x-ray technician and owned and operated his own trucking company. He also enjoyed playing cards and listening to music. Services celebrating his life will be Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 12:00 noon at Swem Chapel in Buchanan. A time to visit with the family will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Pastor Rob McPherson of First United Methodist Church will officiate.
