Pauline E. Taylor

Pauline E. Taylor, age 85, of La Porte formerly of Buchanan died Saturday October 19th at La Porte General Hospital. She was born October 26, 1927 in Jackson, Michigan to the late Loren and Ethel (Hoppe) Smith. Pauline is survived by two sons, Hollie (Clara) Taylor of Buchanan and William (Brenda) Taylor of Ashtabula, Florida; one sister, Lucille Emery of La Porte, Indiana. Other survivors are seven grandchildren and two step grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren, and three great-great step grandchildren. Pauline had worked as a waitress at the former Pickwick Club and the Four Flags Hotel in Niles. She had also worked at Armand’s Restaurant in Buchanan. Services will be held Thursday, October 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Swem Chapel in Buchanan where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Pastor Dave Mitchell of Faith Victory Fellowship Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in Niles.
