Norris E. Young age 94 March 28, 1919 January 24, 2014 Norris E. Young age 94 of Buchanan died Friday January 25, 2014 at home. He was born March 28, 1919 in Berrien Center, Michigan to the late Clifford and Mabel Norris Young; On September 17, 1944 he married Frances R. Sommer who preceded him in death June 16, 2013. Norris is survived by a daughter Kathleen (Ray) Paturalski , a son Nick (Sharon) Young all residing in Buchanan along with Six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Two sisters: Betty Christner and Nina Tompkins preceded him in death along with a brother Fred Young. . Norris was a well know farmer in South West Michigan and had served on the Michigan Live Stock Board and the Farm Bureau Board for over twenty six years as well as being a member of the former Buchanan Coop Board and had served as a board member of the Michigan Gate Way Foundation. He was a member of First United Methodist Church where memorial contributions in his name may be made. 132 S.
