Helen E. Paskiet

Helen E. Paskiet, age 94, of Buchanan died Thursday, May 29th at the Buchanan Meadows.  Helen was born July 5, 1919 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Stephen & Elizabeth Teichman. On December 31, 1938 in South Bend she married John Paskiet who preceded her in death on November 11, 2006 also preceding her in death was a son Larry Paskiet. She is survived by one daughter Geri Hodges of Kerrville, Texas; three sons, Richard (Holly) Paskiet, Douglas Paskiet both of Clinton, Ohio and Dennis Paskiet of Buchanan. Other survivors include eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Helen retired from Electro Voice in Buchanan where she had worked for thirty three years. She enjoyed gardening as well as baking and decorating cakes. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, June first at Swem Chapel, Buchanan where a service celebrating her life will be held Monday, June 2nd at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor Tom Fox officiating.
