Timothy J. Mitchell

Timothy J. Mitchell, 55, passed away Friday, January 2, 2015 at LakelandHospital in Niles, Michigan. Tim was born April 22, 1959 in Niles, MI to Claude and Dagmar Mitchell.  He married the love of his life, Vicki Ellen (Pickens) Mitchell, on November 4, 1978 in Buchanan, MI.  Tim was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, and beloved brother and son. He played football for BuchananHigh School and worked 20-years for Federal Mogul as a Die Cast Operator / Foundry Worker.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, the Detroit Lions and the University of Michigan, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. A celebration of life visitation will be held, January 7, 2015, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Swem Chapel located at 301 West Front Street, Buchanan, MI  49107.  A private service will be held at a later date. Tim is survived by his wife Vicki; mother Dagmar Mitchell; daughter Jammie Mitchell; sons Jeff (Danielle) Mitchell, Jon (Stacy) Mitchell; grandchildren Devon, Aubrie, Gavin, Bryce and Chase; sister Patti Mitchell; brothers Frank (Mary) Mitchell and Dave (Janet) Mitchell.  He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Mitchell, and his brother Mike Mitchell.
