Doris Joan Rouse

Doris Joan “Jody” Rouse, age 67, of Buchanan died Monday, April 6th, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Mishawka, IN. She was born June 15, 1947 in Niles, Michigan, to the late John Brisster and Doris L. Wolkins. On August 28, 1965 in Buchanan, she married Frank Rouse, who survives; along with a daughter, Tina (William) Mast of Eau Clare, MI; a son, Devin Rouse of Buchanan; a sister, Linda (Jack) Fuller of Buchanan; and two brothers, John (Judith) Colpetzer of Buchanan, and Donald (Jill) Colpetzer of Hillsdale, Michigan. Other survivors include five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Jody, as she is remembered by, was vice president of operations at Fabco Company in Buchanan, where she had worked for 44 years. She was a member of FirstMissionaryBaptistChurch in Buchanan. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 8th at Swem Chapel from 5-8 p.m. A service celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, at 10:30 a.m. also at Swem Chapel, with Charles Johnston officiating.
