Jennifer Marie Johnson

Jennifer Marie Johnson, age 35, of Buchanan, Michigan died at 9:54 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2015 at her home. Jennifer was born on June 19, 1979 in St. Joseph, Michigan, to Donna Lee Jasper (Johnson) and Timothy Glenn Johnson. She grew up in St. Joseph on Jasper Dairy Road, her grandparent’s farm. This farm meant the world to Jenny. It was her safe haven. Then in 1994, she moved to Buchanan, Michigan, with her family. Jennifer graduated from Berrien Springs High School in 1999. She was a CNA and also helped take care of her father.  She always loved helping others and always put others before herself. It was her passion until she got ill and could not continue to work due to a blood clotting disorder. In 2002, Jennifer had a daughter, Jasmine M. Smith, with Tony Smith. While Tony and Jennifer are not currently together, they made sure Jasmine always came first. Jasmine was Jenny’s whole world. They were always together and enjoyed their Monday night WWE, yelling at the TV together and cuddling. Surviving family includes, her daughter, Jasmine M. Smith of Buchanan, Michigan;   sister, Jessica Roberts (Johnson), brother-in-law, Jeff Roberts and two nephews, Jace and Jaylen Roberts all of Edwardsburg, Michigan; her mother, Donna Jasper of Buchanan, Michigan; and grandfather, Otto Jasper, Jr. of St. Joseph, Michigan. A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Jennifer M.
