Jeanette Louise Stark

Jeanette Louise Stark, age 83, of Buchanan, Michigan died Thursday, December 31 at 10:54 a.m. at Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph, Michigan.  Jeanette was born December 3, 1932 in La Porte, Indiana to the late Walter R. and Helen Littrell Dill.  On October 1, 1955 in Buchanan she married Charles R. Stark who survives along with a daughter Kathy (Bryan) Virgil of Buchanan, three grandchildren Kristen (Stuart) Wortman of Buchanan, Brett Virgil of Chicago and Erin Virgil of Ann Arbor.  Jeanette is also survived by a sister Mary (Robert) Garoutte of New Carlisle, Indiana.  Preceding her in death were a son Ronald R. Stark and a sister Dora Hombaker.  She retired after working for the Buchanan District Schools for 32 years where she drove bus.  Her hobbies included cooking, bingo and crafts and she was known for making homemade noodles.  A time to visit with the family will be Sunday, January 3, from 4-6 p.m. at Swem Chapel in Buchanan.  Services celebrating her life will be held Monday, January 4, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Paul Lutheran Church, 212 W. Front St., Buchanan.  Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Saint Paul Lutheran Church, 212 W.
