Erin Roundy

Erin Michelle (Cinko) Roundy, 32, of Buchanan passed unexpectedly Sunday, March 27, 2016. Erin was born October 1, 1983 in Wheat Ridge, CO to G. Michael (April) Cinko and Joanne (Dale) Knapp, who survive. Erin graduated from Valparaiso High School in 2002. She then attended Purdue University North Central.  Erin worked for Buchanan Family Medical for the last 6 years, in both clerical and clinical work. November 1st, 2013 Erin married the love of her life, Ernest T. Roundy, who survives.  She is also survived by her brothers, Steve (Heather) Cinko and Nicholas Cinko, as well as many family and friends who she touched with her love and infectious energy.  Erin was a kind and generous spirit with a love for all creatures, great and small.  She was an animal rescuer and supporter of: ASPCA, P.O. Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929 as well as Planned Parenthood Federation of American Inc., 123 Williams Street, New York, NY 10038.  Donations in her name to either charity are most welcome. Services will be held Thursday, March 31, at Swem Chapel, 301 West Front St., Buchanan, MI.  The family will gather privately at the funeral home at 3:00 pm and invite others to join them beginning at 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, which will then be followed by a short service of remembrance at 6pm.  A celebration of her life will follow at 7:00 pm, at the Buchanan Area Senior Center, located at 810 Rynearson St, Buchanan MI.  Everyone is welcome.  To sign her guest book or leave a condolence message please visit www.swemchapel.com.
