Johnny William Womack

Johnny W. Womack, 76, of Niles, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at Jolly’s Home in Berrien Springs, MI. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 1 PM on Friday, February 23, 2018, at Swem Chapel, 301 W. Front St., Buchanan, MI with Elder Lewis Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 11-1 PM also at the funeral home. Johnny was born on February 5, 1942 to W.J. Womack and Evelyn (Ward) Womack in Heber Springs, AR., the first of seven children. Johnny attended L.A.D.D. in Niles. He enjoyed drinking Dr. Pepper, putting puzzles together and playing cards. Johnny was a kind, gentle person. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his sister Jennifer. Johnny is survived by his siblings, Jennifer (Jim) Wolford; Linda Kreidel; Barbara (Milan) Dzuris, Ronnie Womack and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, W.J. and Evelyn; brother, James and infant sister, Sarah.
