Joseph H. Huebner

Joseph H. Huebner, 84, of Buchanan, passed away on Thursday, July 06, 2017 at Buchanan Meadows. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 509 W. Fourth St., Buchanan, MI 49107 with Father Leo Cartagena officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan. Visitation will be one hour prior from 10-11 AM. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame. Joe worked as a Fine Arts Collection Librarian in the Hesburgh Library at the University of Notre Dame and retired after 30 years of service. Joe is survived by his sister, Kay Welsh; sister-in-law, Carol Huebner and ten nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his brother, Tom.
