Kathleen Ellen Lozmack

Kathleen Ellen Lozmack, 87 of Galien, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Country Manor in Bridgman, MI. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Swem Chapel, 301 W. Front St., Buchanan, MI. Burial will follow at Galien Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Galien American Legion, Post 344. She graduated from Galien High School, class of 1949. On December 31, 1949 she married the love of her life, Robert C. Lozmack in Galien, MI. Katie worked nearly thirty years at Gerber Baby Products in Three Oaks before retiring. She enjoyed the fall, tending to her garden and most of all hosting holidays at her home, cooking for the family.  Katie is survived by her son, Robert G. (Barbara) Lozmack of Galien; grandchildren, Jason (Carrie) Lozmack of South Bend, IN, Robert “Andy” Lozmack of Three Oaks, MI and Jamie Lozmack of Long Beach, CA; great-grandchildren, Bryson Lozmack and Wyatt Lozmack; brother, Edward “Skip” (Lois) Howard of Galien, MI and brother in law, Tony Konkey of St. Joseph.  Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; husband of almost 63 years, Robert; brother, Wesley Howard and sister, Anne Marie Konkey
