Michael “Mike” D. O’Sullivan, 73, of Buchanan, died on January 7, 2018. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will take place at a later date. He served 35 years as a detective with the Chicago Police Dept. Following his retirement in 2004, Mike moved to Buchanan to be near his favorite golf course, Orchard Hills Country Club. Mike is survived by his wife, Fran; son, Dan (Laura) O’Sullivan; daughter, Sheila O’Sullivan; grandson, Casey; and sister-in-law, Carol Papirnik.
