Kimberley D. Gardiner, 58, of Buchanan, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Kokomo, IN. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Swem Chapel, 301 W. Front St., Buchanan, MI with Pastor Nathan Babcock officiating. Burial will follow at Glendora Cemetery. Those wishing to visit with the family may do so from 2-4 PM on Sunday, April 22, 2018, also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Buchanan Christian Church. On June 1, 1985 she married Forrest Gardiner in Bridgman. Kim was an Chicago Cubs fan. She enjoyed crocheting, her plants, watching the birds, horses and was an avid reader. Most of all, Kim loved being a Nana and wife. She cherished her grandchildren, and spending time with her family. Kim is survived by her husband of 32 years, Forrest; children, Jeremy (Nicole) Gardiner, Janice (Richard) Bonham, Jeremey Kitchell and Amanda (Eugene III) Pietsch; grandchildren, Sophia, Maddie, Forrest, Dalton, Hannah, Brittani, Ronald, Josef and Carlos; great-granddaughter, Della; brother, Brian Becktell; sister, Laura (Robert) Upton; aunt, Mary Miller; special friend, Wanda Brown and beloved dog, Sadi Mae. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Nancy and siblings, Diane, Thomas and Mo.
