Gregg A. Greenwood, 67, of Dowagiac, passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, August 29th, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Clark Chapel and Cremation Services, 405 Center Street, Dowagiac, MI.  Military honors will be performed at 1:00 PM by the United States Army and the Dowagiac VFW Post #1855 Honor Guard. Burial will take place at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Dowagiac.  Memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.  Those wishing to leave a memory or condolence of Gregg online may do so at www.clarkch.com.  Gregg was born January 3, 1948 in Dowagiac, MI to Arthur and Verna (Hunsberger) Greenwood.  He graduated from Dowagiac Union High School in 1966.  He was a veteran and served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his service commitment Gregg worked for Jessup Door Company in Dowagiac for 10 years. In 1982 he suffered an accident which limited his working abilities. He became a florist and enjoyed creating floral arrangements for many years. He was very proud of his garden and flowers. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing as well as cooking. He also enjoyed traveling and went to Europe in several countries with his sister and traveling companion, Andy. Gregg also had a love for music, arts and theatre. He was a very social person with a big heart who enjoyed life and loved to make people laugh. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Gregg is survived by his son, Nathan (Natalie) Greenwood of Grand Rapids, MI and one grandchild, Landen Green. He was one of nine surviving brothers and sisters; Mary Criswell of Cassopolis, Diane Hatch of Dowagiac, Lorna Suits of Dowagiac, Virgil (Joyce) Greenwood of Dowagiac, Larry (Judy) Greenwood of Dowagiac, James “Uncle MOE” (Carolyn) Greenwood of Dowagiac, Andrea (Jim) Klett from Dowagiac and Doug  (Penny) Greenwood of Grand Rapids, MI. He also leaves behind many cousins and nieces and nephews. Gregg was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Eric Greenwood.
