Richard Keith Bigelow

Richard Keith Bigelow, Sr., 56, of Decatur, MI passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 at his home. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at The First Church of God, 708 S. George Street, Decatur, MI. Clark Chapel and Cremation Services, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, MI is serving the family. Those wishing to share a memory of Richard online may do so at www.clarkch.com Richard was born on January 2, 1959 in Decatur, MI to Norman & Lila (Parrish) Bigelow. He served his country in the United States Army. Richard married Jodie (Baldwin) Bigelow on May 19, 1999 in Paw Paw, MI. He was a self employed automobile mechanic. Richard’s greatest passion was fast cars. He enjoyed attending races with his brothers and entering cars in the local demolition derby. Richard is survived by his wife Jodie; two sons Richard Bigelow, Jr. and Max Bigelow both of Decatur; eight brothers and sisters; Linda Streeter of Lawton; Earl Bigelow and Bob (Rose) Bigelow both of Paw Paw, Connie (James) McAlister of Lawton, Bonnie (John) Miller of Kalamazoo, Steve (Chrissy) Bigelow of Marcellus, Gordie (Barb) Bigelow of Decatur and Vicki (Rick) Specht of Lawton. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law, Marilyn Baldwin and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Norma Bigelow and three brothers; Jerry, Max and Randy Bigelow.
