Anna Mary (Kelly) Stolley 92, passed away in Dallas, Texas September 15, 2016. She was born in Dowagiac, Michigan on December 8, 1923 to George and Caroline Kelly. Anna Mary was one of 6 siblings that have gone on before her.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Clark Chapel & Cremation Services, 405 Center St, Dowagiac, MI., with Pastor Kel Penny officiating. Friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions in her memory should be directed to the Dowagiac Union School Foundation. On August 15, 1942 Anna Mary married Richard Stolley in Dowagiac. As a stay at home mom of 7 children, she established a home full of home cooked meals, baked goods, plus lots of love and fun to all those that came to visit. After raising her children, she went out into the work force waiting tables, working in a bank and at a small sewing factory until the age of 80. During those years she traveled all over the United States with her sister Jane and then established a home together, where she became a proficient gardener.
Anna Mary enjoyed all of her 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and the many many nieces & nephews who live all over the country. She is survived by her children-Mary Jo (Bill) Mersereau, Andrea (Ken) Culp, Nancy Stolley, Bill (Lori) Stolley, Kirk (Linda) Stolley and Debbie (Gordon) Harrison. She was preceded in death by her 2 sons- Richard (Yocky) and Thomas, grandson-Joe Sadowitz and her ex-husband Dick.
