Deanna's Obituary
Deanna J. McTheeney, 74, of Hartford, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at The Timbers in Dowagiac.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 63559 60th Ave. Hartford, with Father German Perez-Diaz officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 PM until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Clark Chapel & Cremation Services, 405 Center St. Dowagiac. Deanna was born March 25, 1942 in Benton Harbor to James Adolph Pelkey and Ruth Jeannette (Cayo) George. On November 1st, 1992 she married James McTheeney in St. Joseph. Deanna was a sports fanatic and was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan.
Deanna is survived by her husband, James McTheeney; children, Gary (Theresa) Cooper of West Bloomfield, Mark Cooper of Benton Harbor, Billy (Mary) Cooper of St. Joseph, Kenneth (Renee) Cooper of Benton Harbor and son-in-law, Mike Burke of Marshall; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Mike Pelkey, Andrea Hankins, Cindy Hogue and Jay Pelkey.
Deanna was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Burke on January 12, 2015; two sisters, Judy McCord in 2005 and Linda Pelkey in 1992.
