Wyatt Allen Lister

Wyatt Allen Lister, 3, of Dowagiac, MI, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 along with his father, Jordan in Silver Creek Township. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Friday, March 3, 2017 at Portage Road Baptist Church, 1765 Portage Rd., Niles with Pastor Lonnie Rhodes officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St., Dowagiac. Memorials may be made to the Children’s Center Daycare in Niles or the Apostolic Lighthouse Christian Childcare Center. His happiness was contagious. He could make anybody smile even on their worst days. A very handsome, beautiful young boy. He was the type of boy that would literally do anything for you. Wyatt could make you excited over every little thing in his life. Every day was a celebration to him. Wyatt loved affection. Wyatt knew how to express how he felt, he loved EVERYONE. He was a very very smart young man. Time spent with Wyatt was like a drug, you just needed it. He wasn’t just a kid, he was our whole world. Wyatt is survived by his mother Allison Hurry of Dowagiac; grandparents, Angela (Robert) Lister of Dowagiac; Michael A. (Jennifer) White of Niles and Angela K. Jackson of Dowagiac; great-grandparents, Terry Hurry, Nancy Lister, Brian (Rhonda) Hurry, Direl Jackson and Alford (Sharon) Floyd; uncles, Joseph Turner, Justin White, Shane Boyle and Triston White; aunts, Bethany Lister, Andrea Lister, Briana Lister, Miranda White, Amelia Hallak and Margaret Johnson; cousins, Brooklyn, Tyler, Lillah, Kendrick, Ava, Ohlin, Giavanna, Cali and Cora.
