Lucie Marie Carpenter

Lucie M. Carpenter, 16, of Dowagiac, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Helen Devos Hospital in Grand Rapids. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, November 3, at 1:00 PM at Clark Chapel & Cremation Services, 405 Center St., Dowagiac. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00AM until the time of service on Friday. Lucie was born on June 28, 2001 in Kalamazoo to Lucky Carpenter, Jr and Tina (Waterson) Parsons. Lucie was currently attending Cassopolis High School. She was known as a very loving person and had a love for all animals, she would bring every animal home if she could. Lucie loved reading and collecting porcelain dolls. Most of all, she loved her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her. Lucie is survived by her father, Lucky (Chandra) Carpenter, Jr; sister, Ashley Parsons; grandparents Elaine (Vance) Carpenter and Lucky Carpenter, Sr. and Pat and Jeff Waterson; beloved cat Mr. Kitty and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Tina Parsons and aunt Sherry Gross.
