Lary Bailey

Lary Bailey, 80, of Dowagiac, MI passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Timbers of Cass County in Dowagiac. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 P.M., CST. Friday, November 24, 2017 at Gary Mizpah Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2350 Jefferson St., Gary, IN 46407 with Pastor Dr. Philip C. Willis Jr., officiating. Memorials may be made to the National Parks Conservation Association. Those wishing to share a memory of Lary online may do so at www.clarkch.com Lary was born June 16, 1937 in Niles, MI to Ralph & Douglass (Evans) Bailey. After high school he served his county in the United States Navy. Lary worked as a truck driver for many years well as Bud Company.  Lary was a member of the Seventh-day Pathfinders. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, being outdoors, and photography. Lary is survived by his children Melony Block, Erich Luening, Lori Bailey and Deva Logan; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings Patricia, Bruce, Darryl, and Keith; first wife Madeleine Bailey; and second wife Dianne Patterson. Lary was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Craig and Sharon; wife Ynetta Bailey; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
