Mildred's Obituary
Mildred Dings, 92, of Niles, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at Brentwood in Niles.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Clark Chapel in Dowagiac with Rev. Thomas Bird officiating. Burial at Missions Hills Memorial Gardens will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Niles. Mildred was born on October 30, 1925, in Oxford, AR to Fred and Lucille (Addair) Martin. On March 28, 1947, she married the love of her life Raymond H. Dings. Mildred loved shopping, especially at Kohl’s.
Mildred is survived by her daughter Jean (Mike) Andrews of Kentwood; son Robert “Bob” (Mary) Dings of Buchanan; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters Norene Isbell and Mary Peterson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; great-grandson Andrew Dittemore; and brothers John Martin and Larry Martin and sister Jo Martin.
