Janet Glynn, 86, of Dowagiac, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at The Timbers of Cass County.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at 1PM at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, with Pastor Tom Bird officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, April 5, 2018, from 12PM until time of service at the funeral home. Janet was born on August 3, 1931, to Glenn & Mae (Whitmore) Pond in Dowagiac. She graduated from Dowagiac High School. On November 11, 1950, she married Arnold Glynn in Dowagiac. Janet was a homemaker and loved to take care of her family. She also enjoyed gardening, playing cards with her friends and traveling with Arnold to Mackinaw in their trailer.
Janet is survived by her son Terry (Deanna) Glynn of Dowagiac; grandchildren, Jennifer (Carlos) Martinez of Benton Harbor and Scott (Theresa) Glynn of Dowagiac; great-grandchildren, Charles Martinez, Allison Martinez, Nathan Glynn and Lucas Glynn; step great-grandson Triston Jiles; and step great-great-grandson Wyatt Jiles.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband Arnold; parents, Glenn & Mae; and siblings, Bernice Deal, Dick Pond, Harry Pond and Jack Pond.
