Lou-Ann Pinheiro

Lou-Ann “Carmen” Pinheiro, 63, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at the Center of Hospice in South Bend. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Lou-Ann was born on May 18, 1954, in Lansing Michigan to Loui and Marie (Lootens) Spadafore. She attended high school in Arizona, then went on to earn her associates degree. In August of 1984, she married the love of her life Gabriel Pinheiro in California. Lou-Ann worked as an administrative office assistant for 8 years at the University of California, Riverside before retirement. She loved reading and spending time at the beach, that is where she felt most at peace. Lou-Ann loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Lou-Ann is survived by her daughter Ana Pinheiro of Goshen, IN; son Michael Pinheiro of California; 6 grandchildren and 16 siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
