Wayne's Obituary
Wayne Crossno?, 60, of Dowagiac entered the pearly gates of Heaven on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from complications related to cancer. He went peacefully, his devoted wife, Rosemary by his side.
Those who knew Wayne, knew that he did not want a funeral service. He was adamant about his decision so in keeping with his wishes there will be no funeral service. Instead, honor Wayne’s memory by spending a day at the beach, hiking in the woods, or by simply sitting outside enjoying God’s glorious creation with your family and loved ones. He loved being outside, enjoying each day to the fullest with his family by his side.
Wayne was born on October 14, 1957 in Dowagiac to Sidney Dewayne Hemminger and Wanda Passmore. He graduated from Brandywine High School in 1976. On January 30, 1982 Wayne married the love of his life, Rosemary Davidson in Fort Worth, Texas. When he met Rosemary, he met the Lord. Her strong Christian faith eventually led Wayne to his own salvation in Jesus Christ. Wayne was known as a jack of all trades, and he loved nothing more than teaching his children and grandchildren all that he knew. He taught them so many things, from fixing motorcycles to identifying wildlife, there was never a dull moment or day wasted. He truly loved being “PawPaw” to his grandkids.
Wayne is survived by his wife who he loved dearly, Rosemary Crossno; daughters, Miranda Vinson, her husband David Vinson, who he loved like a son, Monica Crossno; step-son, Ryan Gray (Sara); grandchildren, Noah Vinson, Analiese Vinson, Zion Vinson, Beckett Gray, Niles Gray, Doyle Gray and Vayda Crossno. He is also survived by many siblings, nieces and nephews.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
