Wayne John Friske

Wayne John “Redneck” Friske, 50, of Dowagiac, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, in South Bend, Indiana. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Wayne was born on August 16, 1967 in Dowagiac to Walter Jr. and Elizabeth Jane (Smith) Friske. He was known as a “Jack of all Trades”, he could build and fix just about anything. Wayne enjoyed being outdoors fishing, camping and loved to cook. Most of all he loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Wayne is survived by his children Ashley Friske and Kyle Friske; father Walter Jr. Friske; siblings Christine (Paul) Ferreira, Carol Friske, Laura Friske and Sara Friske and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Jane Friske and former wife Shelly (Waldrop) Friske.
