Fabian Wesaw

Fabian “Jimmy” J. Wesaw, Sr., 42, of Dowagiac, passed away, Sunday, July 29, 2018 in Dowagiac. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 6, 2018 at Keeler Church of God, 61783 C.R. 687, Dowagiac with Pastor Boyd Saylor officiating.  Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Clark Chapel 405 Center St., Dowagiac.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Deanna Brown for Jimmy’s Children’s college funds at Honor Credit Union. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.clarkch.com. Jimmy was born on March 2, 1976 in Dowagiac to James and Edna “Faye” (Linn) Wesaw. He worked as a Machine Operator for the Michigan Local 324 for several years. Jimmy loved sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR fan. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing and cooking on the grill. Most of all he loved spending time with his family playing board and card games. Jimmy will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Jimmy is survived by his children Amara D. Wesaw, Cora I. Wesaw and Fabian J. Wesaw, Jr.; siblings Pam Mersereau, Tracy Wesaw, Jamie (Hector) Ledesma and Rhonda (Dale) Keene; nieces and nephews Margaret, Charles, Scott, Jared, Matthew, Justin, Richard, Marissa, India, Michael and Gage; numerous great-nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Mnos’no.  Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents.
