Barbara Jones

Barbara Jones, 72, of Dowagiac, MI passed away, Friday, September 21, 2018 at her home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00 P.M., Friday, September 28, 2018 at Clark Chapel, 405 Center St., Dowagiac with Elder Georgia Brown officiating. Barbara was born June 16, 1946 in Fitzgerald, GA to Dave and Ruthie Mae Taylor. Barbara was a machine operator for many years at Creative foam in Dowagiac. She enjoyed serving the Lord, fishing, bowling, attending to the elderly, music, spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Barbara is survived by her children Anthony (Cheryl) Carter of Las Vegas, Barbara (Eric) Turner of Dowagiac, Jesse (Michele) Jr. Carter of Dowagiac, Ava Lumpkin of Dowagiac, Lloyd “Quincy” Jones of Dowagiac and Selina Ivens of Dowagiac; 25 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister and grandson.
