Charon Ann Hense

Charon Ann Hense (Bertelsen), 57, formaly of Keeler, MI, passed away on October 21, 2018 in Hot Springs Arkansas.  A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Sister Lakes Lions Club. Charon was born on April 24, 1961 in Watervliet to Bruce and Nora (Haley) Bertelsen. She married the love of her life Alvis Hense in 1991. Charon worked for Burnette Foods in Hartford for many years before her illness. She was known as a hardworking and dependable women, and would do anything to help her family and friends. Charon enjoyed music and loved to dance. Most of all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Charon is survived by her loving husband, Alvis Hense of Mt. Ida, Arkanasas; sons, Alberto (Anna) Martinez of Sister Lakes and James Hense of Mt. Ida and grandchildren, Ryan, Isaiah, Nick, Justin “Bubba”, Natalee and Carson; siblings Sarah Hutchinson, Christina Bertelsen and Alex Bertelsen; aunt Laure and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Nora Elizabeth Moore-Hunt and siblings, Teresa Miranda, Dino Bertelsen, Donald Bertelsen and Kathy Parsons.
