Dolores M. Krueger

Dolores M. Krueger, 80, of Dowagiac, MI, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Sunday, December 23, 2018, at 1 PM at Holy Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 210 N. Front St., Dowagiac, MI, 49047, with Father John Tran officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Riverside Cemetery in Dowagiac. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 3 PM until 7 PM, prayer service beginning at 7 PM, at Clark Chapel & Cremation Services, 405 Center St., Dowagiac, MI. Dolores was born on September 20, 1938, in Chicago, IL, to Joseph & Josephine (Rogala) Sarna. She graduated from Maria High School in 1957 and continued her education by attending beauty school. On September 5, 1959, Dolores married the love of her life, Robert, in Chicago; the two were happily married for 39 years before his passing in 1998. She was a proud member of Holy Maternity of Mary Catholic Church and she enjoyed playing golf. Dolores loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dolores is survived by her children, Robert (Debra) Krueger of Carol Stream, IL, David (Debra) Krueger of Dowagiac, MI, Linda (Paul) McNamara of Wausau, WI, Thomas (Richelle) Krueger of Grand Rapids, MI, Richard (Brenda) Krueger of Niles, MI, and Joseph (Jennifer) Krueger of Buchanan, MI, twenty grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, brother, Joseph (Chris) Sarna, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Josephine, sister, Joanne Sarna, and husband, Robert Krueger.
