Tanya L. “Porky” Williams, 45, of Dowagiac, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in c/o Whitney Outlaw. Those wishing to leave a condolence online may do so at www.clarkch.com. Tanya was born on September 21, 1973, to Clarence Lawson & Deborah Cross in Berrien Springs. She graduated from Cassopolis High School. On March 22, 1999, Tanya married Steven Williams. Tanya enjoyed being on social media and watching sports such as the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys and her all-time favorite University of Michigan. She was a supporter of multiple organizations including Coaches vs. Cancer and Relay for Life. Tanya was a strong and caring women but her best quality was being a mom, grandmother and great friend to many. Tanya was survived by her husband Steven Williams of Dowagiac; children, Whitney Outlaw of Dowagiac, Tiffany (Chloe Clink) Outlaw of Dowagiac, Treveon (Marlene) Williams of Dowagiac, Matthew Williams of Dowagiac and Marsai Williams of Dowagiac; grandchildren, NaTanya Simpson, Keiarah Smith, Ariah Warner, Lillian Ledord, Daisy’Mae Pond and extended grandchildren; siblings, Brad Lawson of Florida, Tammy (Danny) Brady of Cassopolis, Penny (Todd) Newell of Dowagiac, Brandon Kell of Fort Wayne, IN and Eric Kell of Fort Wayne, IN. Tanya was preceded in death by her mother Deborah Cross and niece McKenzie Brown and great nephew Bryce Brown.
