Sharon's Obituary
Sharon C. Brown, 68 of Philadelphia, PA passed away at her home on Friday February 24, 2017.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at The First Baptist Church of Decatur officiated by Bishop Alfred Jackson, with burial to follow at Harrison Cemetery. Friends may visit from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the church. Friends wishing to leave a condolence may do so at www.newellchapel.com.
Sharon was born on July 15, 1948 to Beryl & Emma Brown in Jacksonville, FL. She moved to Philadelphia and worked for the city in the Police Radio Department for 35 years until she retired.
Sharon is survived by her mother Emma Brown of Decatur and a nephew Beryl Brown II of Decatur. She is preceded in death by her father Beryl Brown I and sister Berlynda Brown in 2011.
