Pauline's Obituary
Pauline “Polly” Eleanor Brewer, 87, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 in Kalamazoo. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newell Chapel, 88313 M51, Decatur, MI 49045.
Polly was born February 2, 1929 in Benton Harbor, MI to Ross and Matilda (Tiefke) Rohl. In 1947, she married Rolland Brewer. In addition to working on the farm, Polly worked at Rudy’s Factory for many years. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and knitting. Polly especially loved traveling, annual camping vacations, and riding in her car with her faithful dog and companion, Wiley.
Polly is survived by her children, Mary Jane Bolle of Decatur, Paula Brewer of Kalamazoo and Ronald (Bonnie) Brewer of Decatur; grandson, Tim (Sara) Bolle; great-grandchildren, Jenna and Taylor; and one brother, Glen Rohl.
Polly is preceded by her parents, husband, Rolland on January 5, 1995, sisters Margaret, Jane and brother Bud.
