Edward Renne

Edward “Ed” E. Renne, 81 of Decatur, passed away, Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at his home. A graveside service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Harrison Cemetery with Pastor Stacey Wilder officiating. Ed was born on January 11, 1936 in Dowagiac, MI, to Jack & Ruth (Earl) Renne. He attended Decatur High School class of 1954.  Ed married Lois Lawrence on June 12, 1957 in Decatur. He worked as a machinist at Hydrock for 37 years. Ed enjoyed spending time with his family, and building bird houses. He is survived by Lois, his loving wife of 60 years; children, Caryn (Michael) Whitlock of Decatur, Julie (Jeff) Diehl of Union, Bruce Renne of Decatur and Daniel (Angela) Renne of Edwardsburg; five grandchildren; sisters, Betty (Richard) Look of Tawas, MI and Mildred (Charles) Whitney of Constantine. He was preceded in death by his parents.
