Rodney's Obituary

Rodney “Buck” Gravitter, 71, of Decatur, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 11 AM at Newell Chapel, 83313 M51, Decatur, with James Abshagen officiating. Buck was born on February 3, 1946 in Muskegon, MI to Edward & Mary (Ickes) Gravitter. He attended Ferris State University where he earned a degree in business. For over 45 years, Buck worked in the car business as a salesman, general manager and co-owner. On July 20, 1984, Buck married Judith Dragan at The Chapel of the Bells in Las Vegas, NV. Buck had a larger than life personality. He enjoyed being around people and making everyone laugh. However, what Buck loved most in life was his family. He was an incredible man who will be missed dearly by all. Buck is survived by his wife, Judith; children, Stephanie (Jim) Mulcahy, Brian (Alicia) Gravitter, Todd (Kim) Gravitter, Matthew Gravitter, and Rodney (Brittany Duchesneau) Gravitter; grandchildren, Taylor Mulcahy, Rylee, Sam, & Lexi Gravitter and Vinny Chase; nieces, Sherrie Triglia and Shelly LeNormend. Buck was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sharon Mott.
