Janet Marie Parish

Janet M. Parish, 79, of Decatur, passed away, September 12, 2017, at Heartland Nursing Home in Three Rivers. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, September 23, 2017, at Harrison Cemetery in Decatur. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Becky Sheteron. She graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1955. On April 26, 1975 Janet Married the late Arden Parish in Decatur. She worked has a machine operator for 17 years at Production Rubber in Paw Paw before retirement. Janet was a very caring and loving person. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing scrabble, doing puzzles, reading and baking, most of all she loved spending time with her family, friends and pets. Janet is survived by her children Becky (Alan) Sheteron of Cassopolis, Joylynn (Steve) Shearer of Hartford, Darlene (Andy) Parish of North Carolina and Glen (Tammy Little) Parish of Dowagiac; step-son Joe (Sue) Parish of Decatur; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Wilma and Martha and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Arden Parish and sisters, Marceline and Ardith.
