Frank's Obituary

Frank Brunacci, 86, of Decatur, MI passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 P.M., Monday, November 13, 2017 at Decatur Bible Church, 80797 M-51 Highway North, Decatur, with Pastor Steve DeGroft officiating. Friends may visit from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., Monday at the Church. A private inurnment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Mattawan. Memorials may be made to the Decatur VFW Post 6248 Auxiliary. Those wishing to share a memory of Frank online may so at www.newellchapel.com Frank was born October 6, 1931 in Chicago, IL to John & Carmella (Chiaro) Brunacci. He graduated from Mattawan High School and then went on to serve his county in the United States Army from 1952 until 1954. On June 16, 1962 he married Ruth White in Evergreen, IL. Frank worked for National Water Life as a machinist in Kalamazoo for over thirty years. In his spare time he enjoyed playing bingo but most of all he loved spending time with family especially his grandchildren. Frank is survived by his sons Larry and Jim Hall; grandchildren Joe Hall, Sherrie (Erick) Bowers, Michael Hall, Crystal Forrest, Valerie Forrest and Edward Finley; great grandchildren Brylee, Tyler, Michael James II, Jake, Andrew, Madison, Gracie, Nicole, Stephanie, Michael, Phillip, Serenity and Qala; six great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews Chaun Hall, Beverly Astopenia, Chelly Worthington, Thomas Morgan, Greg Brunacci, Barbara Reeves, Jimmy Morgan, Rita Morgan, John Morgan and Cheryl Morrow. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Ruth; significant other Maxine Baushke; siblings Florence, Kay, Jim and Guy; and niece Cindy Brunacci.
