Ronald Earl

Ronald E. Earl, 73, of Lawrence, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Ron was born on February 27, 1944, to Alfred & Leona (Hemmingway) Heningsmith in Baltimore, MD. He attended Mattawan High School before he enlisted in the United States Army. Ron worked as a Metal Finishing Manufacturer for Du-Well in Hartford for over 25 years. He then bought his first truck in 1993 and became an RV Transporter for Horizon Transport for over 17 years, during this time he transported over 1000 RV’s across the country and Canada. Ron was quite the handyman and loved to tinker with anything he could get his hands on. He also enjoyed fishing and golf, but most of all he loved to spend time with his family. Ron is survived by his children, Douglas (Kathy) Earl of Paw Paw and Gregory Earl of Lawrence; first wife Carol Earl; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Zachary Earl; and siblings, Doris Wilson of South Bend, IN and Ken Earl of Amboy, IN. Ron was proceeded in death by his parents and sister Adriana Williams.
