Roberta Mae Shugars

Roberta Mae Shugars, 65, of Decatur, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Royalton Manor in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 1 PM at First Baptist Church, 38954 82nd Ave, Decatur, with Pastor Carl Wright officiating. A private burial will take place at a later date at Hamilton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church or the American Heart Association. On March 7, 1968, she married the love of her life, Ronald “Ron” Shugars, in Decatur. Together they raised one son, Roger. Roberta was a proud member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening; primarily tulips. However, she most loved spending time with her four grandsons and cats. Roberta is survived by her loving husband of almost 49 years, Ron; son, Roger (Brittany) Shugars; and grandchildren, Tanner, Carson, Landon and Sawyer.
