Grace's Obituary

Grace Cramer, 86, of Decatur, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at her home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018, at 12:00PM at First Reformed Church, 319 W Delaware St, Decatur, with Chaplain Kevin Brintnall officiating. Burial will follow at Harrison Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the Decatur-Hamilton Fire Department or First Reformed Church. Those wishing to leave a condolence online may do so at www.newellchapel.com. Grace was born on March 29, 1932, to Harm and Margaret (Stam) Prak, Sr. in Decatur. On April 29, 1950 she married the love of her life Andrew Cramer. She was known as a very loving and nurturing person and lived for her family. While her children were growing up, she participated in many clubs with them. Grace was a Room Mother, the leader of the Bluebird Campfire Girls. She volunteered for many years for the Decatur fire department and ambulance service. she enjoyed traveling out of the country and all over the United States to visit her grandchildren. Grace was lifelong member of the Decatur VFW Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the Red Hat Society and a past member of the Portage Senior Citizen Center. Most of all she loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her. Grace is survived by her children Maggee (Les) Morgan, Triena (Tim) Keller, Robin (Harry) Duncan and Rod Cramer; six grandchildren 14 great-grandchildren; siblings Fred (Joan) Prak and John (Gloria) Prak and sister-in-law Gail Prak. Grace was preceded in death by her parents; husband Andrew R. Cramer; son Andrew H. Cramer; siblings Doeko Prak, Triena Sandberg, Clara Schreuder and Harm Prak, Jr.
