Linda Spicher

Linda Spicher, 68, of Decatur, MI passed away Friday July, 13, 2018 at her home.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 20, 2018 at Newell Funeral Chapel, 83313 M51, Decatur with Pastor James Abshagen officiating. Burial will follow at Harrison Cemetery. Friends may visit from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M., Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Spicher Family in C/O Cedric Spicher. Those wishing to share a memory online may do so at www.newellchaple.com  Linda was born May 4, 1950 in Decatur, AL to James & Myrtle (Grissom) Kirby. On February 8, 1967 she married Cedric Spicher in Decatur, MI. Linda enjoyed gardening and worked at many greenhouses over the years. She also worked as a beautician for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling with her sisters and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.  Linda is survived by her husband Cedric Spicher; son Allan (Kimberley) Spicher and their children Diana (Gary) Helmuth, McKenzie Spicher, and Kyle Spicher; son Brian Spicher and his children Ben Schrum, Reliegh Spicher, J.D. Odlum and Allyssa Moats; great grandchildren James Taylor, Melissa Marie and a new born; sisters Judi (Larry) Melson, Carolyn (Patrick) Dominiak and Laurie (John) Laskovy; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, brothers James, Roger, and David Kirby, and sister Maimi Kirby.
