Gary Ted Stroud Sr., 64, of Berrien Springs, went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, Michigan. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, April 3rd at 1pm at Heritage Chapel & Cremation Services, 8747 US 31, Berrien Springs, Michigan. Those wishing to sign Gary’s Memory Book online my do so at www.heritage-chapel.com. Gary was born January 3, 1949 in St. Joseph, Michigan to the late Otto and Reola (Latting) Stroud – Evett. Gary worked for Paramount Die Cast, Alreco Metals and ICG, until a work accident left him disabled.Gary is survived by his companion Nora Stroud, four children; Maxine Cronk of Benton Harbor; Tina Stroud of Hartford; Gary Stroud Jr. of Berrien Springs and Dustin Stroud of Berrien Springs; Brother Larry Stroud of Benton Harbor; sister Sherrie Teed of Watervliet; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a granddaughter.
