James McDonald, 33, of South Bend, IN formally of Berrien Springs, MI passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at his home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 6:00 P.M. Friday March 8, 2013 at the Heritage Chapel, 8747 US 31, Berrien Spring, MI with pastor Esequias Perea officiating. Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the McDonald family. Those wishing to share a memory of James online may so at www.heritage-chapel.com. James was born April 11, 1979 in Fort Lauderdale, FL to Alison (Cutts) McDonald & Keith McDonald. James graduated from Andrews Academy in Berrien Springs. He then attended Andrews University where he received his bachelor’s degree. James worked as a Caddy at the Lost Dunes. James is survived by his mother Alison McDonald of TN; father Keith McDonald and half sister Maria of NC; brothers Kris (Jeri Sue) McDonald of Stevensville and Justin (Kristin) McDonald of Kansas City; nephew Kaleb McDonald; nieces Margaret and Talulah McDonald; girlfriend Brenda Bissell of South Bend; and many other family and friends.
