Larry Dewey

Larry Dewey, 54, of Dowagiac, MI passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013 at his home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 3, 2014 at Heritage Chapel, 8747 US 31, Berrien Springs. Burial will follow at Shanghai Cemetery. Friends may visit from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Larry was born January 2, 1959 in St. Joseph, MI to Vincent & Frances (Musser) Dewey. He graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1977. Larry worked for Superior Foods as a Delivery Driver. Larry enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and University of Michigan fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his family especially his granddaughter. Larry is survived by his mother Frances Dewey of Niles; son Joshua (Jennifer) Dewey of Hartford; grand-daughter Jenna Dewey of Hartford; three sisters Lori (Steve) Fox of Dowagiac, Linda (Kevin) Kohman of South Bend, IN and Leslie (Loren) Roth of South Bend, IN. Larry was preceded in death by his father Vincent Dewey.
